Are you waiting until your next beach vacation just to get that peace the waves, the shell seeking, and the feeling of the sand between your toes brings? 

Wait if I told you that you don’t have to wait?

Just because you don’t live at the beach doesn’t mean you can’t create a coastal space wherever you are.

Why are so many drawn to the ocean for vacation? Well if you actually have to ask that question or think about your answer then the beach may not be your thing!

For those of us inexplicably drawn to the beach, there’s no way to explain it but the feelings it brings. The calm, peacefulness of the water and how your worries seem to wash away just like the waves wash over the sand, is just a small part of it. 

There’s no reason you can’t decorate your home wherever it is with coastal style. I did this years before we moved to the beach and honestly I think it gave our family the inspiration and the drive to move to the beach much sooner than we’d planned.

I have always wanted my home to be a safe, calm, peaceful environment wherever it is and bringing in coastal decor helped it feel that way, and helped me get by in between beach vacations. If you feel the draw of the ocean in your soul too, you’ll know what I mean. You can start small with a bathroom, a bedroom or even just a corner with beach photos, treasures, and maybe a couple of our handmade signs.
