Exploring Amelia Island as a local

Exploring Amelia Island as a local

If you love the beach, searching for beach treasures, or decorating with coastal decor, I’m looking for YOU!

Weekends are for exploring our lovely Amelia Island. We live a pretty normal life of work, school, family life here, but we absolutely love going out and exploring our island.

While we’ve become ”locals” over the past few years, we still love getting out and doing things like beach walks, river sunsets, getting ice cream, and shopping at the local stores and eating at our favorite local restaurants.

It really is amazing to live within about a mile of everything we love here, and with the beach on one side of Amelia Island and the quaint downtown Fernandina Beach on the other side by the river, it really feels like a magical place.

Admittedly, we hide out a lot in the summer time when it’s too hot and too touristy, but we love getting out on a late summer night and exploring.

If you love quaint beach towns, tell me some of your favorites below, and hit that button to follow along in our coastal journey.
