There’s a love of the beach and the peace it brings and then there is a love of beach decor!

For me it’s about bringing that peaceful feeling a walk in the sand brings into my home. Home is a place of rest and comfort for when you are tired or weary and a place to share memories, laughter, joy and sorrow with those close to you.

I’ve been decorating with coastal style long before I ever lived near the beach. There’s been times I’ve gotten snide remarks about why everything is aqua, but the complements that I’ve been given about how peaceful my home feels outweeighs that and anything else. Of course I want a beautiful home but more than anything I want those who enter it to “feel” at home, to feel peace and to feel loved and welcomed.
